Before registerring please read carefully the information below:

Who can participate?

  1. This is an advanced School and it is assumed that all participants are involved in a research related to the main topics of the School.
  2. Young researchers (before Ph.D. or postdocs up to four years after Ph.D.) are kindly requested to provide a recommendation letter (an e-mail to zakopane[at]th.if.uj.edu.pl mail will be sufficient) from a senior scientist supporting their participation.
  3. Young scientists are encouraged to present a 20 min. talk at the young researchers session. If you want to give a talk please enter the details in the registration form. The selection committee will inform the successful applicants at the end of April, 2026. Seminar speakers are entitled to apply for exemption from the conference fee and for accommodation in the University Guesthouse at a reduced rate (see the accommodation section) in a double room shared with another participant.

How much does it cost?

Conference fee of EUR 300 (1250 PLN) covers school materials, coffee breaks, lunches and the conference dinner. For those participants who are not willing to take part in the conference dinner, registration fee is EUR 230 (950 PLN). Registration fee should be paid by the bank transfer upon confirmation of registration (this does not apply to invited lecturers and seminar speakers whose presentations have been approved by the selection committee), no later than May 10, 2026.

Accompanying persons

There is no conference fee for accompanying persons unless they plan to take part in the coffee breaks and lunches at the conference venue (please contact the organizers). The cost of the conference dinner only, amounting to EUR 70 (PLN 300) for accompanying persons, should be paid together with the registration fee.

Registration procedure

  1. If you find that this School is for you, please fill out the registration form.
  2. Young scientists (up to four years after PhD) should provide the name of an endorsing senior scientist. Their registration will be accepted only upon receipt of a letter of recommendation (a short e-mail will suffice).
  3. After receiving information that your registration has been accepted please pay the conference fee.
    Do not pay the fee before the acceptance!
  4. The full fee must be paid even if you will not stay for the entire duration of the School.
  5. The conference fee can be paid by the bank transfer only (transfer charges should be paid by the participants) - no cash payments are accepted. Participants paying the conference fee are kindly requested to provide full details of whom the invoice is to be issued to (the relevant field is in the registration form). Registration fee should be paid to the following accounts:

  6. If you are sure that this School is for you and have all the necessary details: invoice details for the conference fee, name of the supporting senior scientist and possibly details of the proposed seminar, read the Personal data handling information, and register through the indico website.
