If you plan to arrive earlier or later, there are frequent regular bus connections from Krakow to Zakopane (travel time appr. 2.5 hrs.). Train connections to Zakopane are not so frequent at the moment and take much longer due to railway works. From the airport you can reach the bus station by the airport train.

Central bus terminal is located on the East side of the main train station (left with respect to the train direction from the airport). Buses to Zakopane depart from the upper level (platforms G). Tickets (30 PLN or 7 Euro approximately) can be purchased on-line, on-board and also at the bus terminal ticket office.
Train connections are not recommended as the Zakopane route is under reconstruction and trains do not operate on certain days.
Train and bus stations in Zakopane are at the moment under reconstruction. Temporary bus terminal is located at the city center, which is in principle within a walking distance to the conference venue (approximately 2 km.). However, "Geovita" hotel is located on a steep hill, so we recommend that you take a taxi to: hotel "Geovita", Wierchowa street #4.
